Friends & Family

The tour caters as much for family and friends as they do for the team players. Family and friends who come along as part of the tour will experience all the sights and activities the tour has to offer the player, with the added bonus of having the freedom to add extra excursions at your discretion and expense.

Sightseeing & Activities

As part of your tour package, family and friends will have the option to go with the team to all the excursions on the tour itinerary and activities. If their are alternative sights that you wish to see whilst on tour you can organize these either beforehand or whilst on the tour at your own expense. Your Tour Director will be happy to help advise and assist with these additional arrangements.

Accommodation

Family and friends are accommodated in the same location as the players. They will have the same type of room as the players (for more information please refer to the accommodations information page).

Family and friends will be situated on their own floor in close proximity to the team. This allows family and friends to still interact with the players, but also have their own privacy separate from the team.

Your Tour Director and accommodation staff are more than happy to make your stay at the accommodation as comfortable and fabulous an experience as possible. They will try to help with any room requests that a family, friend or player may have.

Tour Staff

Each team, or group of players (15-20 players), will be staffed by at least 1 UKISC coach/representative (possible more depending the number of people traveling). UKISC will select the tour staff carefully. When players sign up for this tour, they can expect to receive a knowledgeable coach who will encourage growth in not only the game of soccer, but growth through the cultural experience away from the field. The position of the coach is demanding and multi faceted. Parent, teacher, counselor, disciplinarian, and organizer are just some of the duties required of the coach. In addition to what the players will learn in an enjoyable soccer environment, they may also learn to be better people as well.

In addition to the UKISC coach/representative, Premier International Tours will also provide a tour courier for the group(s) who will meet the group in England and will be with the group full time each day during the tour to provide any assistance when necessary, and help plan or amend the daily schedule as needed.

Supervision

The UKISC tour staff are in charge of supervision. The staff is responsible for the program. The coach will make sure everyone is doing his or her assigned job.

The following rules and regulations apply to all participants:

  • The possession or use of any alcoholic beverages and unprescribed drugs is forbidden.
  • Players must get permission from the tour leader before going off on their own.
  • All players must participate in the activities described in the program, including training, games, receptions, tournament finals, sightseeing and excursions.
  • Each player is responsible for contributing to team spirit by exhibiting a positive attitude and loyalty toward teammates, coaches and tour leaders.
  • Each player will respect the property of the other tour members, and the suppliers providing the tour.

Parents should be aware of the fact that this program is designed for soccer players. Because of this, soccer and/or group activities will always take presedence before individual program requests.

Terms & Conditions

Tour conditions

The general conditions apply to all services offered by L&J Group DBA Premier International Tours (L&J) and the UK International Soccer Camps (UKISC). In these conditions UKISC and L&J include its offices, its branches abroad and agents, local representatives and assistants.

1. Application

An application will be binding after the confirmation of acceptance by L&J. Upon confirmation of acceptance, all arrangements are under proviso of availability. L&J withholds the right to substitute at any moment the housing accommodation, and/or to alternate the program for circumstances which are beyond control. The substitute housing accommodation, and/or the alternate program, should meet the same criteria as established in the confirmation of acceptance.

2. Tour payments

US$ 500.00 deposit (non-refundable) per person upon booking. The remaining amount will be paid according to the schedule as mentioned in the information. L&J reserves the right to void the booking in case of serious delay of payment. In this case, L&J will refund the received payments minus the cancellation fees + deposit.

3. Cancellation

All cancellations must be received in writing. The day that the notification is received by L&J is the effective cancellation date. If any individual (or the entire group) cancels their tour anytime after booking the following cancellation fees will be charged:

If a person cancels after paying $ 500.00, the cancellation fee will be $250.00 and $250.00 will be refunded. If UKISC finds a replacement, another $ 125.00 will be refunded.

If a person cancels after paying $ 1,000.00, the cancelation fee will be $ 500.00 and $ 500.00 will be refunded. If UKISC finds a replacement, another $250.00 will be refunded.

After January 1st, we would need to decide whether a person would receive a refund, and how much it would be, based on finding a replacement for that player.

Between 20 weeks and 4 weeks prior to departure: 40% of the participant’s price per person plus added cancellation costs for the different suppliers.

Within 4 weeks: 100% of the participant’s price per person.

Suppliers present these regulations to L&J/PIT. This policy is in place to protect all members in the group. If your total number of participants changes due to additions/ deletions your participant’s price may be adjusted accordingly. In case L&J/PIT uses a supplier with a different cancellation policy we will mention the different conditions on the tour confirmation.

4. Insurance

The general conditions of the insurance company apply.

5. Passport

All participants must be able to present a valid passport. The fee for the passport is not included in the tour costs.

6. Exclusion from participation

L&J and UKISC withhold the right to exclude any participant from further participation due to seriously bad behavior. There will be no refund for the unused portion of the tour. Serious bad behavior includes, but is not limited to violation of regulations of the tour management, housing accommodations and transportation companies. If any participant is found to be responsible for any damage while on the tour, he/she will be required to pay immediately for such damages.

7. Sports program

L&J acts as an intermediary and will prepare the desired sports program with great care. Neither L&J nor it’s vendors accept any responsibility for the omission or partial omission of the program due to circumstances beyond control, such as, but not limited to, bad weather conditions, power failure, etc.

8. Rate of exchange and participant prices

The tour costs are based on the exchange rate of the US$ towards the Euro as of July, 2012. Fluctuations of the exchange rate can affect the tour costs. We reserve the right to increase the participant prices in case of an increase in airport (security) taxes and/or fuel surcharges for the airlines.

9. Responsibility and liability

The responsibility of L&J and UKISC and program hosts is limited.

L&J acts in the capacity of an agent for the participants in all matters pertaining to the tours, such as, but not limited to, the arrangement of transportation, housing accommodation, meals, sight-seeing, other social and cultural activities, and sport programs. L&J, UKISC and the program hosts are not responsible for any personal injury, illness or death, for any loss, damage or theft of belongings (such as baggage, possessions or money), for any error, accident, delay, deviation or curtailment of any kind caused directly or indirectly by any actions, omissions, acts of neglect of failure or facilities by:

a) Any person or company retained for the benefit of the participant, including, but not limited to: housing accommodation, sports organizations, transportation companies and tour guides;

b) Acts of God, acts of public enemy, arrest or restraint by any government, seizure under legal process, quarantine restrictions, riots or civil commotions, strikes, lockouts or labor stoppages, war hazards or dangers incident to the state of war;

c) Any defect or failure to comply with any part of local rules or regulations of any airplane, automobile, motor coach, ship, train or other vehicles;

d) Improper or insufficient passports or other documents;

e) Participation in program activities

Additional expenses incurred under any of these circumstances are to be borne by the participant.
